Tree Steward Volunteer Training ( Northern Washington County)

Become a Tree Steward Volunteer! Join the Washington Conservation District and the UMN to learn about trees and how to care for our collective urban forest. At the training you'll learn how to care for young and newly planted trees in public spaces of Washington County. After completing the training and short assessment, you‘ll also become a certified Tree Steward Volunteer who can participate activities such as tree maintence, tree planting and community tree events under the guidance of WCD/ host site Forestry staff. Lunch will be provided. Please dress in weather appropriate clothes and footwear. we will be going outside.
