Wild Rivers Conservancy is seeking volunteers to help conduct visual watercraft inspections and educate the public on preventing the spread of invasive species. Volunteers can share information and brochures with watercraft users, and share tips for cleaning and draining their watercraft. Shifts are generally 3-6 hours in length between the hours of 8:00am-2:00pm, and are available at two locations:
Monday-Thursday at Lakefront Park in Hudson, WI
Friday-Sunday at Lions Park in St. Croix Falls, WI
Volunteers are asked to contribute at least 12 hours per month. Volunteers in this role work alongside Wild Rivers Conservancy staff and interns. Training is provided, no experience necessary. Join our Invasive Species team for the training session on Tuesday, June 2nd from 10:00am-12:00pm at the Wild Rivers Conservancy office (1015 N Cascade St in Osceola, WI 54020) to become a Watercraft Inspector volunteer.
