Do you enjoy sharing the Spanish language? We’re seeking an enthusiastic volunteer to teach beginner and conversational Spanish to older adults and adults with disabilities at Community Thread!
What You’ll Do:
• Lead beginner classes with an emphasis on conversational Spanish.
• Share your knowledge of Spanish culture, traditions, and customs.
• Help foster a welcoming environment for participants to learn, share, and grow!
Requirements:
• Proficiency in Spanish.
• A passion for teaching and helping others.
• Patience and creativity in your teaching approach.
Commitment:
• We’re open to your availability! Teach one 30 or 60-minute class either once per week or every other week. We will work with you to find a regular date and time that fits in our Monday-Friday 9am-4pm schedule.
• Location of classes will be at one of our Community Thread locations, in either Stillwater or Bayport.
