WCCC is hosting a 2-day Circle training for potential volunteers and those would like to gain more knowledge about Restorative Justice and the Circle process. Learning is participatory through role-playing, discussion, and sharing of experiences and values. Participants will learn about:
- Origins of the Circle process—ritual, tradition, values, balance
- Values, principles, and components of the Circle process
- Types of Circles—Healing, Sentencing, Support
Trainers Kay Longtin and Hon. Gary Schurrer have been conducting circle trainings for over 15 years. They bring their expertise in Restorative Justice and passion for circles to this interactive and transformational training.
