Do you think you have a salsa to end all salsas?? Do you have a ton of tomatoes and peppers you need to use up? Do you just want to go eat a lot of good salsa???
If you answered yes to any of these questions, we have the perfect event for you!!
North Hill Community Garden is hosting a salsa competition! End of August is a bountiful time for produce harvest, share it with neighbors and friends while being voted on by other competitors.
Requirements:
- Salsa must include at least one ingredient from a local garden whether you've grown it yourself, purchased it from a CSA or local farmers market, or were gifted it.
- Creativity! In ingredients or name, have some fun!
What to Bring:
- Large bowl for salsa.
- Sign which states the salsa name (Example: "green machine" or "Peter's pico de gallo") and it's ingredients.
No cost for entry. Chips will be provided. All in good fun!
