Description

Are you interested in gardening or supporting native pollinators? Join other volunteers at North Hill community garden to remove weeds, invasive plants, and generally give our flowers some TLC. Whether you have zero experience or years of knowledge, your enthusiasm is appreciated. Let's do it together!

This event is every 2nd Thursday of the month from May to October, starting at 7pm!

What to expect:

  • Hands-on experience with removal of weedy or invasive species.
  • The opportunity to make a positive impact on the local ecosystem.
  • A chance to meet other people with a passion for gardening and the environment.
  • The space to learn the names of the different plants, insects, and animals encountered.

What to Bring:

  • A water bottle. Snacks as needed.
  • Gloves if you'd like them.
  • Clippers or trowel.
  • Sunscreen.

Volunteers may leave at any time, put in as much time as you have the capacity to.
