Calling all early birds! Are you interested in gardening or supporting native pollinators? Join other volunteers at North Hill community garden from 7am to 9am to remove weeds, invasive plants, and generally give our flowers some TLC while beating the hottest hours of the day. Whether you have zero experience or years of knowledge, your enthusiasm is appreciated. Let's do it together!
What to expect:
- Hands-on experience with removal of weedy or invasive species.
- The opportunity to make a positive impact on the local ecosystem.
- A chance to meet other people with a passion for gardening and the environment.
- The space to learn the names of the different plants, insects, and animals encountered.
What to Bring:
- A water bottle. Snacks as needed.
- Gloves if you'd like them.
- Clippers or trowel.
- Sunscreen.
Volunteers may leave at any time, put in as much time as you have the capacity to.
