This happy hour mixer will feature trumpet and Flugelhorn performer, Jeff Carver. He will entertain us with music from past artists such as Louis Armstrong, Elvis Presley, Nat King Cole, The Beatles, the great Frank Sinatra, and more!
Who’s Jeff? Jeff Carver is a former lead trumpet player for the NFL’s Minnesota Viking’s Show Band, the “Power Plays” North Stars Professional Hockey Band, and regularly performed the National Anthem at Minnesota Twins baseball games in the Metrodome! In the mid1980s, he performed on stage with his hero and trumpet lead, Maynard Ferguson. Jeff spent seven years playing lead trumpet and was the featured soloist as he toured nationally with “Shaun Johnson & The Big Band Experience.” Now, he is heard performing throughout the Metro area, and is often featured on Summit Music outreach programs, connecting with senior facilities and organizations in Minnesota.
