Who We Are
Camp Odayin provides life changing camp experiences to children with heart disease and their families. Participants pay $25 per camper to attend Residential Camp, Winter Camp, Day Camp or Family Camp.
Residential Camp allows campers grades 1-11 to enjoy swimming, boating, arts and crafts, volleyball, horseback riding, nature, basketball, and music in a safe, medically-supervised environment during a five day experience. Camp Odayin hosts Residential Camp in two locations. There are three weeks in July at Camp Knutson in Crosslake, MN and one week in August at Camp Lutherdale in Elkhorn, WI. Campers may attend only one summer camp session.
Day Camp allows campers grades k-3 to experience arts & crafts, nature, and new friends while receiving an introduction to our mission during this one day morning program. Campers enjoy environmental education and interaction with a variety of animals at the Dodge Nature Center in St. Paul, MN.
Family Camp is held in the fall each year. Family Camp is for campers age 0 to grade 12 and their families. This program offers outdoor, creative and team building activities as well as educational opportunities for parents. There are two locations for Family Camp: Amery, WI near the Twin Cities and Camp Lake, WI near the Milwaukee/Chicago area.
Winter Camp offers previous Residential Camp campers the chance to reconnect and experience snowshoeing, broomball, and sledding over a three day weekend at Camp Wapogasset in Amery, WI.
