Saint Therese residents have places to go and things to do! You can help make this happen by driving the Saint Therese van for fun social outings, medical appointments, shopping trips, etc.

 Qualifications:

Minimum 18 years of age and minimum of one year driving experience as a licensed driver Valid driver’s license, with a driving record clear of revocations, suspensions and cancellations. Provide consent for the release of motor vehicle records (MVR) to Saint Therese Able to commit to regular weekly or bi-weekly volunteer shift

Volunteerism is a long-held tradition at Saint Therese, shaped by our Catholic foundation and faith-based principles.  Saint Therese volunteers are treasured members of our community, each bringing his or her unique values and voice to drive our mission.

Bring the joy, comfort and companionship of your trained therapy pet to brighten someone’s day at Saint Therese.  Visit seniors and their families in individual or group settings.   We welcome pet therapy teams which are registered with one of the nationally recognized pet therapy organizations.

Spirituality and faith are an important part of life at Saint Therese. You can help escort residents to and from the chapel for Mass and worship services, serve as a Eucharistic Minister or assist with liturgy.

At Saint Therese at St. Odilia, we believe that every day holds meaning and purpose for every individual. For those requiring comfort or end-of-life care, we offer a tranquil, compassionate setting on the parish grounds of St. Odilia Catholic Community in Shoreview.

Come help in the kitchen of this eight-bedroom hospice home with meal preparation, serving and cleaning up.

Flexible schedule. If you love to be in the kitchen, cooking and helping to create a homey atmosphere - this is for you! All training is provided.

As a Fancy Fingers volunteer you can make someone's day special. Buff and polish nails and have a little chit chat.  No special skills required, just a friendly attitude and a desire to make a difference. A little of your time will go a long way to help turn an ordinary day into extraordinary for a Saint Therese resident!

Be a part of the fun! Help residents get to and from activity areas to participate in games and activities such as bingo, balloon volleyball, storytelling, arts and crafts, Happy Hour, etc. Lead a game or project. Start a movie and make popcorn. Help residents learn a new hobby!

Saint Therese offers flexible scheduling, family volunteering opportunities, and all training is provided. No experience necessary - just a desire to make a difference and have fun!

Volunteer with the pastoral care team as a Eucharistic Minister or provide spiritual support Assist with therapeutic recreation activities Provide office support Transportation driver And more!
